The Uttari Bharat Sabha, which is a driving force behind the institution was established in 1949 by a band of selfless patriots who felt the need for an institution which could cater to the educational needs of children in and around Bhandup.
The Sabha started a primary school on 8th january 1950. It began its Herculean task having on its roll only Twenty Students in humble hut and within two years of inception the 5th class was added thereto. It was in the year 1961 that the school became a full fledged secondary school. As a result of sincere efforts and wholehearted support of well wishers, Uttari Bharat Sabha today runs, Hindi medium and English medium Pre-Primary School, Hindi medium Primary and High School, English medium Primary and High School, I.D.U.B.S. junior College of Science and Commerce
Mrs. Babita Kaur Kinaut is a dedicated and experienced educator with over 20 years of experience. As the new Principal of Idubs Hindi High School & Jr. College, she aims to make the school a great place for students to learn and grow.
Mrs. Kaur has a Master's degree in Commerce and a Bachelor's degree in Education. She plans to use her knowledge and experience to create a supportive learning environment. Her goal is to provide high-quality education that helps students and teachers succeed. She believes in innovation, discipline, and inclusivity.
Under her leadership, the school will use modern teaching methods, teach values, and start new initiatives to help students develop overall.
Mrs. Kaur is known for being friendly, a strong leader, and inspiring her team and students. She will lead the school with passion and dedication to shape responsible and capable citizens of tomorrow.
Orientation Programme for Class XII Science & Commerce (2026–27) will be held on 20th June 2026 — Commerce at 1:30 PM and Science at 4:00 PM.
